The majority of our holiday rental villas and our properties for sale are located on the mature, residential hillside urbanisation of Monte de los Almendros. The urbanization, which has evolved gradually since the 1970s, contains individually designed, detached villas that are full of character. This is not a cookie cutter like community or a Disney style resort that have become common in some parts of Spain. The average plot size is 800 square meters and many homes have beautiful gardens. There are many green zones where birds and other wild life can be spotted. There is a good mix of year round residents as well others who just holiday here.
There is a communal recreational area complete with a large pool that is open year round, a childrenīs pool, playground, tennis court, football pitch and table tennis. Our rental guests have complimentary use of these facilities.
The villas are just a 5 to 7 minute drive to the centre of Salobrena and the beaches. The nearest 18 hole golf course, Los Moriscos is 10 minutes away. The villas are just the right amount removed to be quiet and peaceful while still being convenient.
Since the villas are located above sea level, they have absolutely magnificent views to the sea, the beachfront of Salobrena, the Moorish castle and even the mountains. Some people walk to the town of Salobrena during the day by walking along the beach of La Caleta, but at night this isnīt recommended. For those who want to dine out and not have to worry about drinking, taxi can be easily arranged.
This beautiful and peaceful part of the Costa Tropical of Granada is well liked by families and couples who want to enjoy the sunshine, the beaches, the countryside of Las Alpujarras and to explore the nearby cities of Granada and Malaga. Salobrena isn't a destination for nightlife or clubbing. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then please do come and visit.
