Why buy in Salobrena? The viewsOne of the major reasons that people choose to buy property in Salobrena, in particular on Urbanization Monte de los Almendros, is because of the exceptional views. Many places have a sea view but here we have combined open, uninterrupted views to the sea, the mountains that go right down to the edge of the sea and the picturesque Moorish castle and beach front of Salobrena. Since the castle and the beach front are illuminated at night, the view is equally appealing in the evening. We haven't found a view this beautiful anywhere else in Spain. UnspoiltThe fact that Salobrena is small and peaceful and doesn't have high rise construction or mass tourism is a major plus to our clients looking to purchase a villa in Andalusia. Salobrena has been a well kept secret for years and very much appeals to discerning travellers. Salobrena is still very Spanish. In fact, you will find that it is very helpful to speak Spanish here. Over time Salobrena will develop further, but the development will be controlled and tasteful. The local council has seen the mistakes made by other towns, such as Almunecar, Fuengirola and Marbella, and they are determined to grow wisely. The provincial board, known as the Junta de Andalucia, is now playing an active role in ensuring that the mass construction that has taken place in other parts of Andalusia, especially on the Costa del Sol, doesn't continue. This means that Salobrena will remain a wonderful place to live. The weatherThe climate also plays a large role in people's decision to purchase property in Salobrena. The Costa Tropical has the warmest winters in mainland Europe thanks to the shelter that is provided by the mountains that surround us. Our favourite season is actually winter as the days are warm and sunny and the skies are crystal clear. The fact that it is possible to snow ski (often in shorts!) in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon is also a big selling point. Value for moneySalobrena offers good value for money and property prices will continue to rise as there are many infrastructure improvements planned. |
